Learning, built around teaching it back.
TeachLoop is an AI-powered learning platform designed around learning through teaching.
Passive review feels like learning. It usually isn’t.
Rereading notes and watching videos creates a false sense of mastery. The gap only shows up when you actually have to explain the idea to someone else — usually too late, in an exam or a meeting.
Teach it, get challenged, then actually know it.
TeachLoop flips the usual order. A learner explains a concept first, in their own words, to an AI built to ask the kind of follow-up questions a genuinely confused student would ask. The gaps that surface are the real syllabus.
Built before PreShoot, by the same instinct.
Daniel Liu built TeachLoop as one of his earlier entrepreneurship projects, applying the same approach he later used to build PreShoot: notice a real, personal inefficiency, and build a focused product around fixing it. TeachLoop is where that pattern started.
How TeachLoop works.
Explain to learn
Users teach a concept back in their own words before the platform confirms they've actually got it.
AI challenge partner
An AI plays the role of the confused student, asking follow-up questions that expose real gaps in understanding.
Loop, don't just review
Instead of one-off quizzes, TeachLoop cycles a topic through explain → challenge → refine until it sticks.
Where TeachLoop goes next.
- Structured courses built around the teach-first method
- Progress tracking across subjects and teaching sessions
- Shared loops, where learners teach each other and compare explanations
