Practice

How the work actually happens.

Cinematography

Image, movement, and light as the first decision, not a filter added later.

Commercial videography

Work for businesses and brands, planned like production rather than content for content's sake.

Directing and editing

From the brief to the cut. DaVinci Resolve in the edit. Intention in the frame.

Photography and short-form

Stills and short-form storytelling under @danielvisualmedia, feeding the same eye that built PreShoot.

Why this sits next to software

PreShoot came out of this work, not the other way around.

Every production problem that shows up on a shoot becomes a product question. What should we make? How do we structure it? What does the shot list actually need? I build software because those questions kept showing up with a camera in my hand.
